The International Geometry Summit 2023 (IGS’23) will host the following five conferences:

     Shape Modeling International (SMI)

     Symposium on Physical and Solid Modeling (SPM)

     SIAM Conference on Computational Geometric Design (GD)

     EG Symposium on Geometry Processing (SGP)

     Geometric Modeling and Processing (GMP)

IGS’23 posters are intended to describe preliminary results, ongoing projects, recent published work, or software and systems (e.g., open source libraries, experimental setup). The topics can be any of the research areas related to the conferences of the summit, i.e.

     solid and physical modeling;

     computational geometric design;

     shape modeling and analysis;

     geometric modeling and processing.

Presenting a poster is a great opportunity to share work with other researchers, and receive insightful feedback. Research proposals submissions (not limited to Phd and national/international projects) are strongly encouraged. Posters will be presented during a joint poster session at IGS’23, in order to encourage fruitful discussions with the attendees of the summit. We thus require at least one presenter per accepted poster to attend IGS’23 and the poster sessions.

Submission Guidelines

Poster submissions must be in English and include authors names, affiliation, and contact. The submission must be in the form of an extended abstract of maximum two pages, as a PDF file with embedded fonts, and must be formatted according to the LATEX guidelines available here

Poster abstracts must be submitted by email to igs2023posters@gmail.com. Additional material is not mandatory and can be shared as a DropBox link or sent by using common FTP services.

We encourage authors to submit their posters as early as possible. Submissions will be reviewed in the order they are received. Upon acceptance, authors can request an invitation letter to attend the conference if needed.

Extended abstracts will be published on the IGS’23 Website.

Final posters to be presented at IGS2023 must be in portrait format with a maximum size given by the A0 standard (841 x 1189 mm, or 33.1 x 46.8 in).

Note about published work

IGS'23 posters will be shared online without proceedings, and we encourage posters presenting recently submitted or published work. For the latter, related publications must be cited in the extended abstract.
